• When possible, keep yard areas clear of clutter to reduce hiding places for snails or slugs. Your technician appreciates a clear field to spot evidence of snails and slugs and to apply his expert skills to get rid of them.
• Well-kept lawns and gardens reduce the amount of food available to Slugs and Snails and brings to light hidden areas of infestation.
• Watering schedules should be maintained or reduced, and broken pipes and sprinklers fixed. Snails and Slugs need water to survive and moist soil in which to live and lay their eggs. Overwatering encourages them to hang around.
• Never leave pet food outside in open dishes, especially overnight. Pick up fallen fruit from the ground, and harvest your fruit and garden produce regularly.
