This service is for small lots with minimal landscaping that contain few if any roses, hibiscus, conifers, citrus and fruit trees (see below) that draw plant-sucking insects (such as aphids and whiteflies) to your property, but still have migrating insect problems (ants, spiders and other crawling insects) during the warmer months.

Plant insects or their secretions are the major food sources for ants and spiders. Keeping these plant insects in check is the first step in ant and spider control.
CONTROL PLANT INSECTS AND YOU WILL CONTROL THE ANTS, SPIDERS, AND OTHER CRAWLING INSECTS ON YOUR PROPERTY.

Customer Rewards

Reward program treatments are performed for annual service plan customers at the time of their regularly scheduled service.

EARLY OCTOBER to MID NOVEMBER
Plants, small trees, and the entire grounds are inspected and treated where necessary to reduce egg-laying insect populations.
(Note – Adult insects are controlled prior to egg laying. Also, as the weather cools, be careful not to over water. This can encourage the growth of fungus. Fruit trees may not be treated when we are using certain products.
MID NOVEMBER to LATE DECEMBER
Treatable plants, small trees and fruit trees are sprayed using a botanical product to control the eggs of sucking, homopterous insects. This treatment is not applied to certain evergreen trees (such as pine, junipers, and cypress). (Note – Control of the insect egg stage prior to hatching is one of the most important tools of our service!) This sets the stage for the winter treatments that are essential for the most effective insect control program available.
LATE DECEMBER to EARLY FEBRUARY
A second Botanical product is applied to provide control before insect eggs can hatch, and continued control of plant-damaging spores is accomplished. These first two treatments during the winter are critical to controlling your insects later during the warmer months, and providing effective year-round control.
EARLY FEBRUARY to LATE MARCH
An early spring treatment using Botanical or low-impact products reduces the first crop of new migrating insects. Plants infested with aphids and whiteflies draw ants and spiders to your property, so this treatment is applied to keep your plants free of insects that attract the ants and spiders in the first place.
LATE MARCH TO EARLY MAY
A treatment using Botanical or low impact products is applied to most plants, shrubs, and trees to reduce migrating insect populations. Insect activity is picking up this time of the year as the weather warms.
EARLY MAY TO MID JUNE
A final Botanical treatment is applied to most of your plants, shrubs, and trees before the summer heat begins to affect your plants. We then suspend these treatments during the warm season, as your plants will be under stress from the hot weather.

NOTE—DEPENDING UPON YOUR SERVICE SCHEDULING, THE TREATMENTS PERFORMED ON YOUR HOME AND LANDSCAPING MAY VARY BY A FEW WEEKS.

All these treatments are done for you at no extra charge because you have chosen this annual service program.
*No implied guarantees for plant insects or fungi.
