Landscape treatments control more than just insects infesting your plants. Controlling the insects outside of your home is the key to effectively controlling insects that invade your home. Ants, spiders, flies, some cockroaches, beetles, earwigs, crickets—they all come in from outside.

Plant insects or their secretions are the major food sources for ants and spiders. Keeping these plant insects in check is the first step in ant and spider control. Plant inventories are maintained to ensure that our service is appropriate for your property.

#1 OPTIMUM LANDSCAPE TREATMENT PLAN (6 services)

Landscape Treatment October - November EARLY OCTOBER to MID NOVEMBER
Plants, small trees, and the entire grounds are inspected and treated where necessary to reduce egg-laying adult insect populations before they have a chance to lay the eggs. This sets the stage for the two winter treatments that are essential for the most effective insect control program available. Fruit trees may not be treated when we are using certain products.
Landscape Treatment November - December LATE NOVEMBER to LATE DECEMBER
In Southern California, the life cycle of insects slows down but does not cease during the winter. This time of year, eggs are being laid which leads to your problems in the warmer months. Plants, shrubs, and small trees, not including fruit trees, are sprayed using an botanical product to control the population of plant attacking insects by targeting them during this egg-laying stage.
Landscape Treatment December - February EARLY JANUARY to EARLY FEBRUARY
Because insects continually lay eggs on your plants, a second botanical product is applied to provide control before these eggs can hatch. These first two treatments during the winter are critical to controlling insects later during the warmer months, and providing effective year-round control.
Landscape Treatment February - March EARLY FEBRUARY to LATE MARCH
An early spring treatment using botanical or low-impact products reduces the first crop of new migrating insects as they come onto your property. Plants infested with aphids and whiteflies are drawing ants and spiders to your property, so this treatment is applied to keep your plants free of insects that attract the ants and spiders in the first place.
Landscape Treatment March - May LATE MARCH to EARLY MAY
Insect activity is picking up this time of the year as the weather warms and more insects will be migrating onto your property. A treatment using botanical or low impact products is applied to most plants, shrubs, and trees to reduce these spring migrating insect populations.
Landscape Treatment May - June

EARLY MAY to MID JUNE
A final botanical or low impact treatment is applied to most of your plants, shrubs, and trees before the summer heat begins. This is our last opportunity to control the migrating insect population before we suspend these treatments during the hot weather.

NOTE—DEPENDING UPON YOUR SERVICE SCHEDULING, THE TREATMENTS PERFORMED ON YOUR HOME AND LANDSCAPING MAY VARY BY A FEW WEEKS.

WE SUSPEND TREATMENTS DURING THE WARM SUMMER MONTHS. FOR THOSE WHO MAY NEED TREATMENT DURING THE SUMMER, SERVICE CAN BE DONE WITH CERTAIN CONDITIONS TO REDUCE STRESS ON YOUR PLANTS. ASK US FOR MORE INFORMATION.
