Snake
Rattlesnakes and other snakes eat mice and various types of rodents. They are able to follow the trails of mice, rats and gophers using the sensors on the end of their tongue, right back to the place where these rodents are nesting. This in itself makes rodent control very important to your property.
Not all snakes are bad (e.g., king, garter snake, etc.) but if your property is trimmed and cared for properly it will be a less attractive place for them and the rodents they seek. Most people don't want to get close enough to try and identify the species of snake! Eliminating the rodent habitat is the key for keeping snakes out of your yard.
