The Plan STEP 1-- We perform a thorough survey of your property to determine the extent of the infestation and the most likely harborage area's for the gophers. An inventory of the landscape plantings is also done to identify areas which may draw gophers to your property in the first place. |

STEP 2-- Based on the survey and inventory, the technician determines the treatment to be used. In most light to moderate infestations, smoke bombs will be inserted into the burrows to smother (asphyxiate) the gophers inside. The burrows are then covered over. Larger infestations may require the use of baits (anticoagulants), but only if conditions are conducive to safe usage (no children, pets, or other considerations). |

STEP 3-- Recommendations are given to the property owner so that conditions which draw gophers to the property can be minimized or eliminated. These could include thinning of dense vegetation, removal of some landscaping, and use of barriers such as mesh fencing to exclude gophers from specific areas of the property (such as ornamental shrubs or flower beds). |
